Hello fellow Dancer my name is Holly Woods I am not your competition however I am not your friend I am your colleague and teacher by example as a colleague I am a concerned citizen because I am not only a patron of the arts I'm also an source of these said arts and proudly wear the title stripper if you are confused if what my job is. Thanks to the rise of social media and Internet tools such as YouTube the whole world has an opportunity to see a lifestyle and dance styles of exotic entertainers. There have been means made and created to mock the industry and glorify it same way there has been an industry that popped up right out of exotic entertainment it's call pole dancing.
Well let's get to my rant it has really nothing to do with the girls who are hustlers moneymakers entertainers to smile and enjoy the job and comfortable with their sexuality it has everything to do with those who are employed as "busser girls" in other words in stripper clothes. Busboys are those who clean up the tables in a restaurant establishments after the waitress has placed the orders with the patrons the busboy also cleans the cups and dishes behind the bar to bring directly to the dishwasher in the back this job is very entry-level requires very little customer appreciation or attention or service for that matter. Sometimes if a busboy is not too busy he's sent over to pour water for the table of dining patrons, still offering very little eye contact as he nervously exclaims "your server will be over to serve you" meanwhile downgrading his position as the grunt! Dirty hand towel on shoulder black dish pan full of filthy dishes black on black work uniform stained by white powdered grey debris. Walking back and forth in the revolving door of entry level no experience necessary labor!
I would hate to walk in a restaurant and there were no visible servers waiter(ess) hostess or management instead a room full of busboys waiting to be told what to do!

Do not for one minute think I'm degrading the very necessary position of the busboy, that's his job! I'm degrading the fabric of what I once believed to be so beautiful exotic and enchanted. The exotic entertainer of today has become very entitled and lazy. If I was a man I would walk way as well if I seen a stage full of drooped head strippers sitting Indian style playing candy crush or whatever the hell you're doing. I know your not writing a fucking deposition! Even if you needed to, there's a time and place for everything the stage definitely isn't that place and your stage said isn't that time to be on your phones, you're teaching the customers what you will tolerate from them if they come to the stage they could stare at their phones and ignore you. I get it I get it if you're club is slow you feel you need to distract yourself and keep yourself busy however you're not really enriching yourself at your job if you're doing something outside of job so you could be promoting your club you could be promoting yourself. Please just not on stage, and certainly not during my set!
You were hired probably because you have a hot body an awesome face you may have even a good head on your shoulders so the club considered you an entertainer or a source of entertainment that could please their crowd and earn a recto acted income if you don't realize what your job is you may need to take a step back and learn how to be an exotic entertainer or learn how to be an entrepreneur, your job is not to hustle dollars for thousands it's the hustle thousands from one! Your beauty brains and brawn are attractive methods just to get his attention, like a magnet it's up to you to stick especially if it is a negative charge (a regular) you can learn a lot from him.
One customer is plenty! Appreciate every person that walks and even if he is a regular who does not spend much money because that's where your time is meant to be spent, with customers not with each other, every moment you're learning about a man's needs that go Way beyond the physical, you are preparing yourself to age gracefully and wealthy. I'm not sure what your goals are and why you're a dancer youre needs might be very little where you need a boob job Michael kors bags and Mercedes Benz or you may have bigger goals towards retirement investments and real estate options. Whatever it is your time is valuable and you put that value on your time based on what skills and assets you bring to the table. Don't assume the dancers are there is your competition to take your money so you need to learn everything about them to come up with a grand scheme to block them from their goals because that takes way too much energy, making friends is great but that takes much time not just effort interviewing a dancer to find out her background, why are they there? What clubs they worked at who they may already know at your club, if they do drugs you create more tension then acceptance. Exotic dancers have layers of information that they're not willing to unveil all at one time which is the reason why they're able to go with the flow of a lie so much easier then come out and tell the complete whole truth. It's called game and I really don't have to run game but I'm willing to tell you what you want to hear! Putting words in my mouth or suggesting truth is my way of accepting your reality. Like the old saying goes a person will tell you everything you want to know about them by the questions they ask about you! Reverse psychology is a prominent source of vital information shared.
Come to work happy!you maybe goal oriented where you set yourself up for specific amount you intend to make in order to leave for the night, that's great if you're saving and you're on a good savings plan however money fluctuates and there's never a set amount unless you have organized clientele awaiting your orders. Promotions marketing and advertising might be a clear way for you to stand out above the others. Especially if you work very little little and your schedule fluctuates often.
